The ever blunted Ramone returns with this absolutely excellent hiphop track, dope fly freshness permeating every byte. ;) Of course, Mono would like to take this opportunity to remind people that graffiti is officially a 'bad thing' and is just mindless vandalism, not cool urban artwork. And don't you forget it. ;)

Kicking it into da stratosphere, brother Ram is on da hype tip with this absolutely wicked jungle track. The sub-bass, the timestretch vocals, the hiphop stylings, it's typical Ramone, and all the better for that. Some weird ethnic stuff somewhere far in the background, too. Listen carefully, because all will be revealed :)

After his most excellent participation in last release's Mortimer remix frenzy, Ramone returns at his rabid best with this oh so blunted piece of paranoia. Ramone normally cranks out his tracks from Germany, but is currently in New York doing.. something or other. We can only guess. Wu-Tang Clan collaboration coming up? :P Come back soon, Monie. :)

Let's go back, let's go back to school, let's go back to school, to the oldskool ;) Ramone shows his mastery of the hiphop jam again, and there's dancing on the streets - some serious electric boogaloo action goes down, hah heh hah. Can anyone spell 'worryingly funky'? Mono iz three feet high.. and rising.

Newest addition to the Mono family, Ramone, puts out his debut, and a bit of a kikker it is. Although he says he's never actually heard hiphop-junglists like DJ Hype and the Ganja Kru, whose sound he resembles, Ramone's hiphop and funk record collection stand him in good stead to unleash mayhem. Hah. :)

It's tricky. In some danger of becoming the Penn and Teller of the underground scene - now you see him, now you don't? With the undercurrents of the macabre but the straightahead gobsmacking in there too, it's a valid comparison, but, let's face it, Bay Tremore just ain't that.. sick. Although perhaps some of his basslines are a little.. evil :) Anyhow, in the latest instalment he takes on some of the recent mono211 releases from ramone and substance, gives them a good seeing-to, and dumps them...

Ramone returns, and with another of his hiphopjunglistic kikkers. He's about to sign a contract with a German record label to put out some of his tracks, apparently on the same label as Ray Keith, so watch out for details about that. And Ramone even did us the ASCII-logo we're currently doing. Damn new-age stoner Da Vinci type. :)

Yiikes! Some delay but no need to make hay, m211 z00ms back into your area with the majesty of rockhard beats that is ram0ne. youch, watch your bassbins vibrate to this one. ramone has a number of vinyl projects on the go, still, watch the m211 webpage for his profile with info on them, should be coming up soon. but in the meantime he still gets to doing some smart xm-age for us. oh, and he's even behind the guy with the tape ascii we iz currently using. doh, people wot can do more than one...

Our rather dangerous man in Germany, the most blunted Ramone, returns with an intoxicated remix, and isn't it wicked? Wicked in the hellish sense, of course. Check out the original from the Mono archives, way back, and find out how much it's changed. Which is a lot. We're sorry, are we boring you? :) Great tune tho. :)

A return for Ramone, and it's just as blunted as usual. Mm, in our opinions, rather wonderful - but then, what do we know, huh? :) Perhaps original because it's not afraid to be a bit more downtempo than your conventional hiphop-jungle-hybrid. Then again, it could be the schmokes that make us choke. We'll just slope off then :)

The ever horizontal Ramone provides us with a remix highlight thanks to his careful reconstruction of the Relief+Twilight track from a while back. He seems to have melded the track into a sorta tripped-out odyssey, complete with slowed-down drawling hiphop samples and funky acoustic bass and drums. You got it? You know I got soul! Mm, just sit down and appreciate the atmosphere, please, memsahib? This is top class entertainment, we fear...

After the unexpected and tragic loss of Andi Horvath, aka Ramone/Mono, of a sudden heart failure in June (tribute page here), we at Monotonik+friends were contacted by his friends at Fruitz Of Dojo (the Mac demo-scene group he was a member of) with a number of great unreleased Ramone .XM tracks (playable in WinAmp) which had been composed, in the months before he passed away, for both a demo ('Fistful Of Dojo') and a 'chip' music-disc ('SuperSIDekick Sessions'). So, we're proud to present these...

Again, some deck-clearing, with some excellent instrumental hiphop given to us by Ramone earlier this year, and finally released now. The slight delay in releasing has, if anything, matured this year's vintage, and it's still a mighty fine double-tracker.

Oo, we iz _definitely_ operating correctly with this awesome hiphop jam from Ramone. Too blunted, cannot operate heavy machinery? :) Heh, bass, saxophone, guitars, beats like you're drowning in mud - just sit back and luxuriate? The track also features vocals from Rakim, one of the alltime hiphop heroes. Which is nice. :) Rules rules rules.
